The sun was shining this morning, so we knew we better get outside! (It's been cloudy ever since Luke got home...sad...and now it's cloudy again, but it wasn't when we went hiking!)
Anyway, we decided to hike up to Thunderbird Falls.
Along the trail there is an overlook of the Eklutna River. And it really is a steep cliff down to the water!
Don't be like that old-school-lode-runner-guy...that fell head first over the edge... (And bonus points to those of you who remember the lode runner game...)
Here are pictures of the falls and hiking down to the falls...and tree that actually has leaves on it! Wahoo!
