Oh boy! The return of Winter...

Lately things have been a bit "spring"-y around here...warmer temps, no snow (due to rain), and all the grayness of "the breakup" without the longer daylight hours.

Not cool.

Winter here is supposed to be magical.  L ike you are trapped in a snow globe with frosted trees and big fat snow flakes falling from the sky...  Well...it's finally winter again!

I woke up yesterday thinking it looked like April outside.  That made me sad because it's January, and that would be a LONG 4 months left of winter.  But later, when I looked out the window again there was snow on the ground!  Hooray!  Sneaky snow storm...  I had no idea!

And now a foot later, all is well again in the world.

To celebrate, Luke and I ate lunch at Snow City Cafe.

We weren't just celebrating the snow...today was also ultrasound day!

Little baby Hanzon seems to be healthy and somewhat happy.  I say somewhat happy because for the majority of the ultrasound he was folded in half...yoga style.  Therefore Luke thinks the baby isn't very happy...

And that's right I said HE.  It's a boy!

A very flexible one at that!  (And Luke is in the background saying "showoff!")
