My friend Lindsay wanted to get some firewood, so she borrowed a chainsaw and we drove up to my dad's property in Wasilla where there is a plethora of firewood. Stacks and stacks of downed trees begging to be in someone's fireplace...
Lindsay manned to chainsaw and I uncovered the logs from the piles. It was messy work. Moss and fungus everywhere! And just as we finished loading up the wood we had cut, it started to
rain pour. We figured it was a sign that we had gotten enough wood for the day.

| We also picked up some branches for our friend Joelyn...she was decorating for her daughter's Alice in Wonderland birthday party... |

| We threw in this mushroom decoration too. (It's perfect for Alice and Wonderland, don't you think??) And amazingly it made it back to Eagle River without getting smooshed... |
