For this week's hiking group, we went to Byron Glacier in the Portage Valley.
Not as many people were able to come on the hike today--due to doctor and dentist appointments and other errands. (Summer is definitely winding down...sad!)

My friends Anna and Andrea were the only brave souls who ventured out to hike in the rain today. I carpooled with Anna.

And on our way home, I had Anna drive by the cool church on Turpin Road in Anchorage so she and her kids could see it.
The dome-top-things look like blue Hershey's kisses, don't they??
