Fly Fishing Practice is for the Birds

Luke and I really need to work on our fly fishing technique.  This afternoon we rigged up our fly rods with some fuzz tied on the end of the line (instead of dangerous hooks...cuz we didn't want to hook ourselves while we were "pretend fishing"...how lame would that be??), and we went to the park at the nearby elementary school to practice.
We were busy practicing and trying to remember all the instructions the guys at the local sporting goods store gave us (we asked them for pointers last time we were there...).

At some point we realized there were a lot of birds flying arounds us. (We think they were swallows.)
And then they started dive bombing the fuzz tied on the end of our lines.  They would swoop down and pick it up and try to fly away with it.  Over and over again.  Crazy little birds!
Two birds...top bird has the fuzz, bottom bird is waiting until top bird drops it so he can have it.
It was actually really funny.  Who would've thought that would happen?
