Arts-y Crafts-y

I was inspired today to make something.

Annnnnd...after seeing this tutorial for a pillow thing (that I can't/have no desire to make) and some trips to Fred Meyer and Wal-mart.....Ta-da!

I hope you weren't expecting a how-to, step-by-step tutorial...because I didn't do that...

I can tell you what I used though.

Patterns for Letters and a shamrock
Felt
Embroidery thread/needle
Ribbon
Fabric (2 colors)
9x12 Canvas
Hot glue gun
Modge podge and sponge applicator
And a piece of paper to glue on the back to cover up the big mess...
Oh, and something good to watch and/or listen to while you work.
And scissors.  All craftiness requires them.

Then I cut stuff, sewed stuff, and glued stuff....  How's that for a tutorial?

Not so good, right?  Oh well.  Maybe next time.

Oh, and guess what?  I just found out what washi tape is.  And you bet I ordered me some.  There will be more crafts when I get that in the mail...

And if you are wondering "what the heck is washi tape?"...well basically it's fancy overpriced printed and/or colored masking tape made in Japan.

You make crafty things with it.

Just you wait.  (You don't have a choice...)
