We (along with all of our luggage) made it to Alaska last night. Hooray!

| Yep, that's 9 bags! I joked with Luke that all we needed were a couple of owls, and we could go to Hogwarts... |
My dad has a car (an s.u.v.) here in Alaska--which he uses when he's up here taking care of the properties he owns--but since it's just sitting around when he's not here, he's letting us use it. What a lifesaver!
We have a car, but it's not here yet. This was the last we saw of in on Friday:

No...it's not getting towed. Well it is, but not in a bad way...

We went to
church today. It was nice to go to our new ward in Eagle River. We are in the Alpenglow Ward. It's a really big ward with a lot of kids in it. Someone even said there are more kids in the ward than adults! I don't know if that's really true, but from what we saw today, I believe it! There are also no old people in the ward... I think the oldest member of the ward is only 60 something...which is weird. (What's a ward without grandmas and grandpas???...not that there aren't grandmas and grandpas in the ward...they just don't look like it...) Everyone was so nice and welcoming. We feel so blessed to have the gospel in our lives, and to have a church family wherever we go.
One lady (Kristen), that I met during
Relief Society, invited us to her house for dinner tonight. She also invited a few other members of the ward over, so we got to meet them and get to know them a little. We had a really great time!
In other news, it's really cold here. A lot of people in church said that it's not usually this cold here...I hope that's really true.
I think I need some warmer church clothes...
Happy Sunday from "up north"!
