Friday Felonies...or maybe just a Misdemeanor.

I was out of town last friday, so I didn't have a Friday Funny.  But now I'm baaaaack, and I have a funny to share with you today.

It's a story about my awesome husband and how he almost burned down IKEA.

Here's the story in his own words:

"So I went to see the phenomenon that is called IKEA.  And while I was perusing, I noticed they had cinnamon buns for $1.  (What a great idea to have food while you shop...that's for the dudes.)  Anyway, I payed my dollar and was told the buns were self serve.  So I went over and got my little wax paper hygienic whatever-those-things-are-called and calmly reached under the glass to get my cinnamon bun.  I had a moment of hesitation trying to decide which delectable cinnamon treat would be mine.  That moment of pause had consequences...  Suddenly my little hygienic-paper-thing burst into flames!  But, I'm an Eagle Scout so I remained cool, calm and collected under fire-quite literally.  I blew the fire out.  It wasn't that big, but it was still noticeably flame-y.
Still holding my smoking paper, I looked up at the cashier lady who was looking at me with eyes as big as the cinnamon rolls (which were not small).  She just looked away.  I don't think she knew what to do.  Not wanting to be wasteful, I used my charred wax paper and retrieved my cinnamon bun as I carefully avoided the heating element this time.  I got a little bit of ash on my cinnamon bun, but it still tasted delicious.  To be safe, I left the store shortly after I ate my bun, so I could avoid any potential criminal charges."

Before I go, I feel the need to say "WAY TO GO CARDINALS!"  They are the 2011 World Series Champions!  To be honest, I don't really follow baseball...but I do like Matt Holliday and he plays for the Cardinals, so I wanted them to beat the Rangers...and they did!  But from what I've heard, the team owes a lot to this little guy:

Behold the rally squirrel!!!
Just giving credit where credit is due  :)
