Camping at Hahns Peak

Thanks to Kirsten and Reagan (who did all the reservations and planning), the Hanzon family had a summer camping trip.  (Unfortunately, Reece and Haley were unable to make it due to a friend's wedding...)

We went to Hahns Peak Campground near Steamboat Springs, Colorado.

Cooking hamburgers for dinner on Friday...in the rain.
One of the campsites (we had two).  We used the tent Luke got for graduation (it's the farthest/smallest one in the picture).  It weighs less than 5 lbs!  It's a very cool tent.
Campsite 18 (and 17...I think) were the ones we camped in.
We went on a Saturday afternoon bike ride.
The scenery was beautiful!
This meadow of wildflowers was amazing..
Luke and I went fishing in Hahns Peak Lake.
Luke caught a fish!  (That's a big deal!  :)
This is me fishing.  Yay!  I love fishing!
This is the little fishy we had to keep.

We also saw a bald eagle on our little fishing adventure.  We were kind of afraid he would attack us and take our fish... He didn't though.  Phew!
Sunday morning we were greeted with rain.  It cut the festivities short a little, but we still had a great time!
Yay for family, camping, outdoors, and the beauty of Colorado!
