I found out today that this week is National Chocolate Chip Cookie Week, so of course I had to make chocolate chip cookies...
I used my favorite recipe: Mrs. Fields Cookies (from my sister Wendi's friend... Not sure if it's the REAL recipe, but they sure are good.)
Mrs. Fields Cookies
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup butter
Mix those ingredients together. Then add: (I mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl and then add to the wet ingredients. And I don't have a fancy Kitchenaid so I have to mix in the dry ingredients slowly so it's not too hard to stir... Weak sauce.)
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
Chocolate chips (My favorite are the Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Bittersweet kind.... SOOOO GOOD!)
Bake at 350 for between 8-10 minutes. (It depends on the oven...)
MMMMMMMMMMMMMM........... GOT MILK?
