Lately...

I have been procrastinating this post because it's the 300th blog post...so I figured it should be special or something.

Oh well.  Time to get over that idea.

Here's an update via photos.
We have some new furniture.  Chewie now has a dresser...and we still do not.  Go figure!
For a few minutes one of my NCAA Brackets was doing really really really well.  (Stupid Gonzaga)  In the end this was still the best bracket I filled out--1090 points.  Not bad.
Snow.  I'm over it already!
I survived the dreaded glucose test.  It wasn't even bad.  I think the secret is the glucose drink being cold.  Thank you Quest!
Yay!  Fun ice!  Luke brings me some everyday from work.  It's my favorite treat.
We babysat our neighbor James so his parents could go to Good Friday services at their church.  James and Luke threw snow to their dog Maggie.  She loves that!
Tommy's Burger Stop in Anchorage.  Very very very tasty!
Dividend time at REI means time for new toys...we practiced setting up our new tent in our living room during general conference.
And more snow.  Still very much over the snow.
And the days are getting longer.  This is the night sky just after 10 p.m.
I read that even though we had more snow last winter, at this time last year it had melted already.  This year we tied the record (set in 2002 and 1970-something) for the snow depth on the ground for April 23.  (At the weather service office where the official measurements were taken they measured 12 inches of snow still on the ground.)  It started snowing again yesterday which made me sad, but once it turned into rain instead I was much happier about that.
