Happy Halloween!

We were going to carve a pumpkin this year, but it took us awhile to find pumpkin carving tools...  (We procrastinated buying a set until it was too late.)  Then we found some at Lowe's.  BUT by the time we found the tools all of the pumpkins were sold out.  Sad story...  Oh well.  We are ready for next year for sure!

I can't believe that one year ago today Luke was in Alaska interviewing with BP....and now we live here.  Crazy!

We've had quite a few trick or treaters.  Which is surprising since it's super cold outside.  (And that's no joke...the news said that it will be 7 whole degrees here tonight.  I don't think it's that cold yet...but it's on it's way!)

Have I ever mentioned that we have the coolest neighbor of all time?  Her name is Lezlie.  She and her girls gave us some amazing Halloween treats.  She texted before they headed over so we wouldn't answer the door.  (I'm sure having 5 and 3 year old helpers doesn't make doorbell ditching very easy...) Anyway here are the goodies they left for us:

They are moving away in a few months...and we're already super sad about that...
