Fall? Already?

The leaves are changing colors.  How is that possible?  They're not that old!  They just arrived on the trees mid-May.  And now it's mid-August...and they are starting their farewell speeches.  (I'll admit they've seen a lot of daylight though.)

It feels a lot like the end of September...not August.

These are the months of Alaska we have experienced...and this is what they felt like to us:

April=March
May=April
June=May
July=April
August=September

We have a feeling fall isn't going to stick around very long.  And then it will December for the next 3 months.  Hopefully minus all of the holiday shoppers...
