End of Summer Sunset

Summer sunsets in Alaska are easy to miss...unless you are an insomniac who is awake all the time.  But now that summer is ending sunsets are happening at a more "regular" time of day (like 9:30 p.m.).

Tonight the sunset was magnificent!

We're losing sunlight at a rate of 30 minutes a week.  Pretty soon sunset will be in the middle of the day!

Oh, Alaska....
