Cool July

I've been hearing about record heat in the lower 48.  Well it's not happening here!  (It snowed in the mountains above my house a few days ago.  Yes.  That's right.  SNOWED!)

In fact, it's warmer in Prudhoe Bay than it is Anchorage (and Eagle River)...  Craziness!

Image via (and there's a story there too...)
We had record snow last winter and now there's the possibility of record cold July...  It's hard for me not to want to break this record too.

Besides, I would much rather be on the cool side of things.  I have a ton of jackets, hoodies and beanies that apparently I can wear year round!  :)  Yay!  Alaska!

P.S.  The record high in Anchorage is 81??  I think there are a lot of places in the lower 48 that are BEGGING to have only an 81 degree day...things are just different "up north"!
