Birthday Spoilage!

Sunday birthdays are boring...I think so anyway.  And this year Luke was working on my birthday (and later in the year, he will be working on HIS birthday).  So our family birthday celebrations will just have to be put on hold...not that we are big birthday celebration people anyway...

But I had a wonderful birthday!  It was cloudy and cool outside (which was a nice break from the roasty-toasty camping trip), and I was surrounded by wonderful friends--who fed me a lot of cake!

 (Lezlie made me mint oreo cupcakes.  Lindsay made me a Baked Alaska brownie/ice cream birthday cake.  And the cake not pictured was a chocolate/vanilla checkerboard cake with delicious fluffy chocolate frosting from Kandra.)

When my mom asked what I was doing for my birthday I told her "well i just got out of church, now I'm going over to my friend Brooklyn's for lunch and then I'm going to my friend Lindsay's for dinner."

Then she said:  "They really spoil you up there, don't they?"

"Yes mom.  Yes they do."
