3.14... Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day!

Lately we've been painting...  We painted an accent wall in the living/dining room and the whole 1/2 bath.

Now they are a lovely shade of blue!

We love the color and how it goes with our dark brown couches and accessories!

After we got done painting we went on a trip to Lowes to get more supplies...but we ended up having to turn around due to traffic being stopped on the Glenn Highway.  (Turns out there was a 10 car pile-up right by the Muldoon exit...where Lowes is...)

Don't worry.  We didn't give up.  There's a Lowes in Wasilla!  So we drove the other direction and got the stuff we needed.

We also stopped in at Alaska Wild Berry Products.  They have very delicious chocolate there!...among other things...

Yep...they do sell chocolate covered bacon...  We didn't try it though (this time).

We also stopped and visited the biggest Wal-Mart we have ever seen!  (Luke says it's like a city inside.)  They sell all sorts of things...not your usual Wal-Mart variety.  (They have everything!!!!)

The second picture down is the bike section of the store.  (There were so many!)  The wildflower picture reminded me of my old boss and the gnome reminded me of my friend Lauren...and that huge tea cup is a plant pot...although Luke and I agree it would be best used as a ginormous tea cup.  (Notice Luke's pinky is raised...what a proper tea drinker!)

In other news, we are only 3 inches of snow away from having the snowiest winter on record.

I have no doubt we'll make it (it's supposed to snow tonight).  I'm just curious to see how far over the record we will go...

And it's NCAA Bracket time!

Last year I did 3.  This year I did 4.

I haven't even watched a single basketball game this season.  Oh well.

Right now on my "first 4" predictions I am 3/3.  (c'mon California...  Then I'll be 4/4!)  (That's on the first bracket (upper right) I filled out.)

Too bad the first 4 games don't really count.  However, Luke and I decided to make them worth 1/2 point in our little competition.
