Today was a really fun day! We went to our new friend Brooklyn's house for breakfast. She made us pancakes, eggs, and bacon. It was so delicious!
Here is a funny conversation Luke and I had today:
Me: (after having to crawl out the driver's side door at Brooklyn's house due to a snowbank blocking my door from opening, and again at the relator's office having to navigate a deep snow bank situation) "Man you sure love parking by snowbanks."
Luke: "Well they are kind of hard to avoid!"
Point. Taken. We chuckled about that for awhile.
And for the most important news of all:
WE CLOSED ON OUR HOUSE! A WHOLE DAY EARLY!
It wasn't even scary. It was exciting! We feel so relieved! We aren't homeless anymore!
Three cheers for the lady who yelled at other the lady who works at the bank in Minnesota who swore to Luke she wasn't working overtime and wouldn't get our loan processed until tomorrow... Take that you lazy bum! (What a frustrating experience...)
