2012

In 14 days, we will begin our adventure in Alaska.  What a way to start off the new year!

We're still in the process of buying a house in Eagle River, AK (about 10 miles north of Anchorage).  Things are going well...we think.  It's the first time we've ever done this.  And it doesn't help that we are over 2000 miles away from the house we are buying...but so far, so good.

2012 is shaping up to be quite a year.  Not only are we moving far far away, there's other adventures in store.  You know like:

The summer Olympics in London

The end of the Mayan calendar (/world)

And let's not forget it's an election year...maybe the end of the world will come before we have to endure all the election commercials...ha!  That's a bit extreme, but I don't like political commercials!  (I am Manda, and I approve of this message....)

I have been thinking about goals, like I usually do around the New Year.  There are a lot of things I want to do this year...AND there are a lot of things I want to become this year.
